Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985): Five years after the first movie, a new family moves into the house on Elm Street. A young boy, Jesse, has trouble sleeping as he keeps dreaming of a horrifying killer with a burned face and a glove of steel claws. Little does he know that Freddy plans to use him as a way to return, so that he can once again spread his horror among the young people of Springwood.
Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987): It is now years after she suffered her terrifying ordeal and Nancy Thompson now works as a psychiatrist, specialising in nightmares and dreams. Returning back to Springwood, she comes to work at the Westin Hills psychiatric hospital, just in time to learn about a group of kids suffering from horrifying and deadly nightmares. Determined to face her old nemesis, she sets out to save their lives.
Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988): Some time after the events at Westin Hills, Kristen and her friends that survived Freddy’s last killing spree are trying to live a normal life. But now Freddy Krueger has come back again and he wants to use Kristen’s ability to bring other people into her dreams to get more prey. Face to face with her worst nightmares, it will be up to Kristen’s friend Alice to find the courage to stand up to the demon that wants to kill them all.
Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989): A few months after Alice defeated Freddy, horrible things start happening again as the dream demon comes back to haunt her once more, this time through the dreams of her yet unborn child.
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991): With no one to oppose him this time and almost all the children of Springwood gone, Freddy Krueger’s reign of terror had nearly run its course. But now Freddy’s sins might finally catch up with him when a familiar figure from his past returns back to town and her courage and wit might just be enough to defeat the Springwood Slasher for good.
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994): In this new twist on the Nightmare movies, we witness the actress Heather Langenkamp, who famously played Nancy Thomson, as her life suddenly spirals out of control when she and her young son Dylan start having nightmares about a new terrifying version of Freddy Kruger. To prevent him from escaping into the real world and save both her son and herself, Heather must embrace her role as Freddy’s nemesis and find the courage to face the monster for real.
Freddy vs. Jason (2003): Stuck deep in Hell, Freddy Krueger searches for a way to return back to his town that has almost forgotten about him. To gain back his powers, Freddy tricks another famous killer, Jason Voorhees, into coming to Springwood. As Jason starts his bloody rampage, terror spreads through the town once again, the fear allowing Freddy to start killing as well and now a group of teens must come up with a plan to save the town from both of them.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010): When Nancy’s friends start dying in a mysterious and horrifying way, she doesn’t know what’s going on until she herself starts seeing a burned man in her dreams determined to kill her. When she realises her mother is keeping something from her concerning her past, she sets out to find out what really happened, hoping that the truth will help her survive.
